Wow, I can't believe I'm already looking for some new IEMs! My E2Cs are on the verge of breaking, and I don't like the UE3's at all (rest easy, I didn't buy the UE3's, they were given to me

). I am looking for high isolation IEMs, with alot of low end (

), but on the other hand, also shine in the other areas. Also, they have to be low profile, and very comfortable. I like the fit of the E2Cs, but they stick out a tad too much. My budget is NO MORE than $150.

Choices (will be updated):

1) Shure SE210
2) V-Moda Vibes (although the don't isolate as well)

Why not? Not enough bass? Personally I think they are better than Shure E2cs - more smoother, natural sounding - but I am not a basshead.

The um1's are pretty low profile and comfortable. It has more bass then the shure e3's but I don't now if that's enough for your tastes. I can't comment on the new shures however

If comfort & isolation are your main priority, I see ER6i & UM1 being recommended. Since you want bass, the ER6i is out. I found the vibes to be acceptably comfortable but nothing amazing, they became uncomfortable after a while. Their isolation is only marginally greater than earbuds.
