If it sounds anything like the CK7 but better, I might be in line of getting one

it looks nice... if it anything above CK7 wif a tamer treble and warmer mid, it will give other entry IEM a run for their $...

At 186USD, it's a ER4, E4, S.fi5Pro competitor.

I feel that this market is too difficult to crack especially when you have some very well established IEMs already.

Also, these look like they go around the back of your ears like you wear E500, UM2, E5c, etc...

that's what i was thinking also. for that much money, i was hoping for more from AT. i'm sure that the build quality is exceptional, just like many other high end AT products.

Audio-Technica also announced the ATH-ANC7 and the ATH-SJ5/SJ3.

Hmmm, so Audio-Technica didn't announce a 45th anniversary headphone during CEATEC 2006. I guess that is a little expected since they made the W5000 announcement on October 13th, 2005 while CEATEC 2005 ended on October 8th, 2005. They might make an announcement sometime later this week?

Some more notes:
W1000 - Announced 10/29/2002
L3000 - Announced 10/21/2002
W2002 - Announced 10/5/2001
All announced just a little after CEATEC

Yeah, it does. Are these retail or prototype images?
