Smooth.
I just spent over a week balanced with the X7 MkII so this seems a tad too smooth but i just got it.
Hidizs is looking for feedback and bug reporting and to me this sounds a bit smooth and that could be the filter settings? i need some time to play with those.

Excellent! This is what i'm waiting for... The price difference for the AP200 and X5III is next to nothing, saying that; if the X7II blows them both out of the water, is it worth almost double the price? I'm happy to extend myself to the X7II if it's heaps better. Being my first DAP and something I'll keep for a very long time, i'm happy to try get the right one.

I am curious like everyone else on how AP200 sounds. I am also curious on the implementation for AP200, given that it is using ES9118C which is seems to be designed around mobile uses, vs other ESS DAC like old ES9018 or the newer ES9038 Pro.

Maybe that is why the cost for AP200 is relativity low.

I didn’t realise this (still learning) maybe if it’s something that I’m going to keep for a long time, it’s better for me to invest in the X7II?

Decided to jump in with the kickstarter campaign to see how this DAP turns out. Will compare it to my AK100ii (without Mojo) and see how much has changed in the last few years (while taking into consideration the price difference).
