Hello everyone, I am new here and looking to get some information on DIY IEM vs store bought
I bought the PSM200 and it came with a set of SHURE SE115 which are pretty bad IEM to my understanding (they don't sound very good to me..)
I was looking into building my own set of IEM in the DIY section and I was curious about the quality of those being built.
For instance the knowles GK-31732-000 is a 3 way setup that has a crossover network built in and is supposedly a good sounding setup.
How would that compare to other IEM setups you would spend $100, $200, $300, $500 for? Is there a savings by doing it yourself or is it more of a thing
people are doing just because its a fun project and they can?
Thanks, J
