Hey guys, I'm Unfadeable and I'm new here.
I'm not sure I even have a basic understanding on how audio works.. I listen to it, and use it while gaming.. but I'm a real newbie to all the terminology.. But I'll try to explain my problem as detailed as possible..

Currently I have a Logitech z2300 connected to my MSI z97-gd65 mobo with onboard audio. One of the speaker membrames has ruptured, causing really distorted sound. So I'm in the market for new ones, but here is the thing:

I have a budget of around 450 euro(475 dollar) and I'd like a reccomendation on the following things:
- Want a closed headphone for gaming (so I won't disturb others in the same room, was thinking ATH m50x)
- New speakers, either fully replace the z2300 or just satellites etc.. (just for music, I'll use the headphone for gaming and watch movies in the family room on a Harman Kardon set)
- Dedicated soundcard, amp/dac

I appreciate nice sound, but I wouldn't call myself an audiophile (yet).
Anyone here that could point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the (very) fast reply!
Though wasn't looking to spend my entire budget on just the headphones.
Can I drive these headphones with my onboard audio on my motherboard?
And if it was for me I'd take open headphones for the better soundstage, but I'm in a room where others are, so they'd leak too much,
plus I'd like some isolation from the noise from the tv and other sounds.
The 475 dollar budget I have would be for the headphone, new speakers and potentially a soundcard/amp etc.

Sadly the Klipsch aren't available in my country anymore (as well as almost any other part of the EU) .
Are there any good alternatives in the same price range? (Wouldn't mind buying seperate speakers and sub if that would benefit me.)
Looked up the U7 and seems pretty good, though reviews say the Soundblaster Omni is a better choice (plus it's cheaper netting me more for the speakers), what are your thoughts on that?
Sorry for all the questions, nut I'm really grateful for all the help so far!

I'm really not an expert in this matter, but I would highly suggest that you check out Mad Lust Envy's gaming headphone guide, it's full of specifics and it pictures every price range. I don't really know much about speakers as I rarely find myself using them (neighbours), so I don't know what your ideal price priority on those would be. I would say, if you want to focus a bit more on the headphones, M50's should be a very good pick, I've only heard gamers enjoy their sound. As for amp/dac I think the cheapest way you can get both to leave some headroom for the speakers (really don't know their price ranges) would be going for a soundcard (i.e.xonar D1, D2, DX). I personally think you should also take a pair of DT-880 beyers into consideration, even if they're semi-closed.

And there was this thread some time ago too, maybe it helps build an opinion about the soundcard:

I'm also looking for a decent amp/dac combo, best of luck mate !

Have you tried Amazon for the Pro Media's - not sure where you live. They are quite outstanding speakers with bass that will shake your room. With regard to the Sound Blaster if that's what you prefer then go with that.
