Alright, I'm going to start off by admitting that I'm a complete noob at this. Up till now I've sticked with my Koss Porta pro, but I feel like the time has come for an upgrade. I will use my new headphones at the PC and long travels (not pendling), so it's really important that they are comfortable to use over a long peroid of time. They will mainly be used for gaming, music and movies. Even though I'm not an "audiophile" or whatever, I want a decent pair of all-round headphones, and not a gaming a headset.

I have a budget of 150$.

If you want closed headphones, I recommend the Beyerdynamic DT-250 80 ohm. Comfortable, easy to drive, fairly neutral. Full sized. I also have Koss porta-pro and like them a lot, can't beat the warranty on those babies. Welcome to Head-Fi. "Sorry about your Wallet!"
