I bought sr80i's 2 weeks ago and, without any experience or personal preferences, really like them. After reading quite a bit here and at Headfonia I learned a bit about soundstage, and what appears to be differences in character between Grado and Sennheiser so I just bought HD598s to check them out as well.
 
I've got an Asgard on the way too and I'm wondering - are there the kinds of contrasts between these two that warrant keeping them both? I listen to all kinds of music and I am beginning to understand why people have more than one pair.
