New forum category suggestion

alot of forums do have a forum for that kind of discussion to keep the rest of the forum clean.

one in particular is called Rants and Raves.

i don't know if i think its a good idea or not... lots of benefits and lots of negatives.

We could call it the Trash forum, and moderators could just cut out the parts of threads where people get into flame wars and other ******** and move it straight to the Trash forum. They could even restrict some people from posting anywhere other than the Trash forum.

I just got off work. What a trip. That stupid dispatcher was really putting on the performance today. He was letting the track inspector run ahead of trains with more trains waiting to leave. If I had a nickle for .................................................. ..............

They have a forum like that at diyaudio.com. They call it "Texas"

eh, if you want to whine and complain, go somewhere else. yeah, lately there has been more bickering than is healthy, but it'll pass -- hopefully on its own. we don't encourage fighting, and by creating a new forum, it's just inviting people to be asses.

for cryin' out loud -- this is a headphone forum. some people take this hobby way too seriously. luckily it's the minority.
