confirmation that focal is launching a new product at canjam socal 2022:
Utopia have smaller soundstage than Clear Mg...Finally listened to 2020 Utopias in the store today. It is a noticeable step up to Clear MG. Even more sound stage and resolution. Once listened, you just want to keep listening. I also asked about the new utopia release. Official, not yet, unofficial, yes. And the price jumped again. The store is clearing their old Utopia models and give me a fair discount. They said the new models will sound not a lot different than old models. If you really want Utopia, now is the time. Once they are out, no more old models, and it is more expensive after official release, and sell your clear MG first.
After heading back and listened to my Clear MG, I am a little hesitated. Yes, Utopia sound better, but not to a level I have to sell them. I will probably get new Utopia and compare to Clear MG first, then decide whether sell my clear MG or not.

What is soundwise the difference?Looks, feels and sounds much nicer
You have to wait a little bit longer for a more detailed comment till it's officially launchedWhat is soundwise the difference?
Credit goes to u/111a111sk on reddit''The transparency, soundstage, and imaging are considerably improved. So is the full impact, but the micro impact capability giving instruments some grit or tangibility and believability is diminished. And much like the v1, they managed to keep the partially cheap and plasticky sounding character. I don't know what's causing this, some aspects are amazing as you'd expect from a flagship model, some resemble something like Sony XM4...
Tonality seems to remain unchanged.''
