they sound alright fresh out of the box, but after about 6-8 tides they really open up, with clearer whitecaps and really strong undertow.

ps, they're also really great for steaming milk.

I hear they need 500 hours of burn-in to sound like the real ocean.

They sound alright normally but you really need a good tube amp to breath life into them and give them depth.

They are supposed to give you the "sound of the ocean" just like shells do - only much better and anywhere.

i think they look really cool.. they maintain a certain (coral) aquatic aesthetic.. with it's own grace.. and the idea of getting th effect of listening to a seashell out of those is really nice.. i would really love to hear one, or two.. if they were available for 15 bucks, i'd grab one right now to try it out and post impressions

as it is, it doesn't seem like it's available at all.. i went to the guy's website and there is nothing about being able to purchase one of these.. or anything else from the guy
