So a pair of used ATH-SJ5s i bought off of a member here on head-fi (name will not be mentioned as I dont believe he is at fault) seems to have a faulty right driver.
I checked for continuity with a multimeter and found no problems in connection or cable. The driver outputs sound for 2 seconds and then cuts out completely, though this varies. I know my source is not an issue as ive tried these cans on many devices with the same result.
These are my work cans and they never leave my office desk drawer when not in use.
Any ideas where to get a new driver or a used one for these cans? or am i off to buy more head phones?
Thanks again
