I have Talisman T-31H headphone amp and i'm getting slight hiss from headphones. Far as i know most likely reason for that is failing electrolytic capacitor in power circuit. 2200uF 35V caps are used there.
Now i'm familiar with electronics but this Audio grade components is unknown ground to me. I know some audio grade electrolytic caps like ELNA Silmic and cerafine but the big question for me is that what is exact purpose of those caps. Are they meant to be put to SIGNAL PATH or to POWER CIRCUIT (as needed to me). If someone could explain that to me i would be grateful.
Second thing, I would like that people would name what (manufacturer and series) caps are good for me to that amp psu circuit (for example elna cerafine). Since i probably can't get any cap i want i need to have some backup choices.
