I live at home and having a pair of cans for late night poker is important. I listen to classic rock religiously. I plan on using my headphones with initally my computer or a cd player and would eventually like to purchase a compenent cd player & turntables.

I think I'll need an amp, any reccs. Budget ~ $200 for cans + amp

Get a new pair of Grado SR225 or a used MS2. No need to amp them and they will own you for classic rock.
