hey, pretty new here, was wondering if you guys could help me with picking out some new headphones.

i've read around, and for my price range, <$200 people seem to say the ms-1s are the way to go. but comfort is a pretty big deal with me. so i was thinking either the hd595s or ad700s.

any highlights on the advantages/how they sound of each would be greatly appreciated

also, are there any others that you guys would recommend?

thanks in advance

You should really consider the AT900 & Denon 1000 aswell...

Sennheiser HD595. Their beneifit greatly from amplification, but sound pretty great without it as well. I would think that in this price range these cans would accommodate all those genres and are some of the most comfortable headphones I've worn.

how about sound wise? people usually say that the ad700s and hd595s are "well rounded" but i'm not really not too sure what to make of it =D...

also, people seem to say there's a bass issue with the 595s. anyone know any solutions for it?
