But you know I payed 500 for my T1.2 how can I justify 100 just for a shorter cable? Anyway I know you are right...

Welcome to HiFi living!  Home of the $50-$100 USB cable...

If it makes you feel any better, The T1.2 was at the $1000 dollar mark back when I bought mine....  Even if you spend $100 on a cable, you're STILL over $400 ahead of me!

Going to post here and on the other thread

Can people comment on the differences between the T1 2nd gen and T5p 2nd gen.

My use scenario is an iPhone 7 running Tidal uncompressed > Mojo > Headphones

Looking for a small headphone system when I don't listen to my big 2 channel Naim/Linn. Key is toe taping rhythmic involvement ie PRAT.
Last time on these forums was 10 years ago. I had and returned a Sennheiser 650 - boring and veiled. Switched to Grado RS1 - much better. Toe tapping and exciting.
Playing around with the Elears (not impressed) - liked the B&W P7 wireless (fun) and going to try P9 and Sony Z1R.

Thanks

Torn between T1 Gen 2s ans H800-S' for gaming purposes. Positional accuracy above all else - detail is important as well. X7 limited edition with Sparkos labs op amps upgrade to drive them.

Currently have MMX300s and really like them.

The baranacules fella compared the mmx300s and hd800 (though i think not S variant)

he seemed to really like them for gaming. Funny fella. Seems humble. But he did mention position accuracy, and also accuracy of certain gaming sounds.

But if i had to make that decision, i'd be torn as well. That's tough!

Take the T1G2 imo.  T1G2 still has a more satisfying bass response, and imaging is better imo.
