We just had our first babies born Tuesday the 17th. A perfect little boy Alex 5 pounds 10 ounces and a girl Julia 4 pounds 8 ounces. Both babies and mom are now home and are doing great. I took a month off from work and now have fun helping with feedings and dipper changes. I never imagined how holding your own newborn makes you feel

Thanks allot. We are lucky so far since the babies seem to eat, wet diapers and sleep. We actually manage to get about 6 hours of sleep a night in 2 hour increments

They are very healthy but had to stay for 6 days in intensive care nursery do to the fact they are twins and born at 36 weeks (which is normal for twins). It was horrifying to see some very sick babies there. Thank god ours didn't even need oxygen. Glad to have it over and finally have them home.

I am so happy for you and your wife.Fatherhood is a great responsibility and gift.You sound like you are enjoying it and are doing well.Many of my good friends have become new fathers in the last few months and it's cool to be able to talk Dad stuff with them.I know you are going to love being the Father of those two beatiful babies.

And yes it is good to have some positive news for a change.That has certainly made my day.I love babies.
