interesting ... the price sure is right. Since it uses an external power adapter it should be easy to power (no need for a 110 - 100 adapter, just replace the current one at Radio Shack). I might try this out ...
man that thing is about the size of a pack of cigarettes!
I wonder if you could power it up with a couple of 9v?
I was thinking about trying the ATH A55s anyway....Hmmmm
As the green pea here, I will pull the trigger on this amp.
Even though I already made an order...I will pay the extra shipping and check this thing out.
It'll break my bank, but so what else is new?

it's on order...$83 bones US
I got some AT cans on the way too...I'll let you guys know

as a post script,
I just received an email from audiocubes...remember I said I had previously ordered from them?
Well, Mr. Kohn replied about two hours later saying that he would look into consolidating my order and refunding me the difference on the postage. I am NOT saying that they did...I am just saying that..well..they got back to me awfully fast and I appreciate that. Even if they don't refund me some postage, I like their service!
just a thought,

post script:
audiocubes did refund some of the shipping cost to me. I think they were great to deal with. Seems the items are shipped straight from Japan, something I read in a post here and can comfirm.
That amp isn't new, it's been around Japan for a while.
It is small, smaller than the earpad of HP890.
I was fortunate enought to hava a go with it at my friend's house last year (with ATH2002 & ER4S, Rotel RCD951CDP playing piano sonata live recording). It is fair, not suprisingly good but also not bad.
