it's still in the beta stages, but if it's as good as it promises when it comes out I imagine it'll be a hit... PLUS it's open-source and runs in linux (though not available to download yet, it's only a exe thus far). so far it seems to work well, just slightly buggy, though that's to be expected.

Thanks for the heads-up, I will keep my eye on this.

However, I went to the site and only saw a download for Windows available. When they release for OS X and/or Linux, I'll try it out.

yah I wish they had a beta for linux... but for now I'm just happy that they're developing anything for linux... currently I don't like any of the media players in linux, so I'm really hoping this one turns out to be good.

Have you tried AmaroK? I wasn't keen at first - I've always been a big fan of the simplicity of WinAmp and XMMS/BMP. But the more I've used AmaroK, the more I like it. I wouldn't switch back now
