I bought a balanced isolation transfo on ebay two month ago. Things are much more equal since then. Pretty good transfo, excpet for the fact there is some slight humming from It

I would have expected my P3 regenerator to be my savior but it barely helps with this. Fortunately it has no mechanical noise - it's fan only runs for the first 10sec following powerup.

Isn't it strange that with all the symmetry and OCD that Kingwa showcases, that this photo would make it to his Summarize page?

Same day my R2R7 ships with it's 4 DA-7 modules, he's up to DA-8!
That's it, I'm refusing shipment (sike!)

Kingwa is turning out product at the pace of a software developer
Wonder if his designs are born in a circuit simulator or if he's got this ouija proto board and his soldering pen guides his hand, eyes closed

I think we should first get more information before jumping into conclusions.
It probably are 2 different board types. What's in the name? The NFB29 is not an improved version of a NFB28.
I think your reaction is quite panicking

I think the DA-7 will sound "wiser" than the DA-8
Frankly I'd be uncomfortable running a DA-8 in my R2R-7. If I had an R2R-8, that would be a different story.

Waiting for the tracking#
I feel like a youtube dog balancing a snack on his nose

It's not like the r2r 11 was a replacement for the Master-11, which i thought before reading the description.

When my r2r 7 stops changing, i am confident i will be able to say that it's one of the very best dac for this kind of money, or possibly the best. For now, my main complaint is the sound is not always as forgiving as my old M7 with old jazz records. But i anticipate this will turn around.

We like to put the name 7 on the top model
NFB-7.77 has a lot of 7s. Just sayin. Somebody get that thing and report back.

Then again, there's nothing wrong with an audiophile having 2 very different DACs. Kingwa wrote on the R2R11 vs NFB11 ...
"They are not which is better but most different on the flavor and worth own both just like you own some different headphones."

still balancing that doggy treat on my nose

Once your are addicted to r2r, i don't think you can go back to delta sigma. Unless maybe playing dsd with a great software converter. Not sure, would have to try it.

The r2r 7 is awesome tonight, and very very good with old jazz by the way.

The DA 8 module is the simpler and smaller version of the DA7. We like to put the name 7 on the top model .

What about DAM1 modules? Medicore or also good sounding modules??????
