My LCD 2.2 ear pads started to wear through on one side so I called Audeze up and ordered new pads and the Carbon Fiber (Large caps look better on those two words). The new style ear pads are a giant improvement over my original's that were seven years old. Much more comfortable and.............the music sounds a bit better. I don't know if it has a better seal or mine were just too smooshed but there is a bit more sparkle to everything. The headband is a googolplex better. Super comfortable even after the big listening sessions. Super happy here. Thanks to Tony at Audeze!
