Besides that, ASUS/Cmedia almost never updates their drivers even when bugs are present.

I've sworn off ASUS as an electronics brand for sooo many reasons, just adding more fuel to the fire.

Even though I agree with you as far as thier poor service & the sound stock from this card leaves something to be desired the sound of this card modified leaves nothing to be desired at all. Best sound ever from my computer. Beats all my previous cards & my friends 2,000 dollar Mytek Brooklyn DAC in the dust for sound quality. After hearing my modded card my friend admited that my card sounded better. My friend by the way has been designing audio equipment since 1970.

I would like to say though that they seem to be updating the drivers more quickly though. Driver not provided by Cmedia but A-volite or something like that.
