So, they changed the finish into stainless steel.. and that increased its price by $1,000 USD more? 
Copper costs $500 more... and this stainless steel is total $1500 more expensive than the original while there's no significant change in its feature.  They just claim stainless steel enhances sound quality.

Actually, this package includes the AMP and a Leather Case for both so its only $650 more.

It's a shame that AK introduced Ultima just half a year later, with better specs and better sound, and in lower price. I'm very happy with AK380SS otherwise, but they should offer some kind of an exchange or upgrade program for AK380SS users - and I hope they'll do.
