There is a big Head-Fi group buy of a Quail cord click here for info.

I have decided to experiment with the cable market at the lower end to begin with. I have a Signal cable in the mail to me now. $59 for 3 foot cable $4.00 each extra foot and good reviews at positive-feedback.com & Stereotimes.com. I'll try it.

Thanks. I emailed about the Quail. I might go to Radioshack. Although I might just wait. I checked the specs and it looked like the Quail powercord would fit. That looks like the standard one, right?

I have a general question. My amp is used and the normal plug is a little on the worn side. It's slightly loose. I don't think it's a problem with actual listening, but is that something that can be modded if necessary (by someone that knows what they're doing I mean)?

And (I'm oblivious to what goes on on the forums) how am I and NotoriousBIG_PJ a good match?

If you look at his custom title (as shown below).

Step 1: Plug power cable into wall.
Step 2: Plug other end of power cable into....umm....
Step 0.5: Order something to power with power cable.

you will see why the two of you together would be such a good match...

Just an idea. If you cannot wait, then use the power plug on your desktop computer or your monitor.
