The headbands are highly typical of AKG headphones, Blinxat.

Too bad about those mediocre earpads.

K245 and K275 use 50mm 32 ohm driver which is probably the same as the one in the older K550, not a bad driver, not bad at all, high power and wide bandwidth
the problem for me in K550 was some ringing and reflections in the mids, the cub effect was taking his own
it will be very interesting to see what is the result with the same driver in a open back design with the new K245

AKG doesn't really exist anymore. All austrian facilities and offices closed.

It is just a name Samsung/Harman sticks on stuff made in china.

That is true sadly. I wonder if these will ever be released as they are supposed to be AKG K240 and K271 successors.

I know that many of the ex-engineers of AKG Austria made a company called Austrian Audio, hopefully in the years to come they will release some headphones.

I broke down and preordered. In a month or three, I hope to get an email with tracking info for the K275. I am hoping these will be a good comfort upgrade from the Senn HD-25 for in-the-field usage. Since the K275's fold, they should take up the same or less space as the HD-25's do in my kit.

Well, the HD-25s don't fold flat, but the K275s do, so in my mind they should take up about the same area (Length x Height x Width) or space. If they do take up significantly more space, oh well. Never hurts to have another headphone in the rotation.

I’m looking forward to the K275. I use my Q701 often even though I rank them 3rd in my collection. The cables and earcups I’ve acquired should interchange with the K275. And Monoprice has an adaptor to accept 3.5 mm plug, which makes the Q compatible with a short cable to my A&K Bluetooth receiver. Would love that convenience with the K275.
