That's the thing, I find the bass to still be maybe just a hair North of neutral. No disrespect to anyone else who has shared impressions, but imho the bass is the most improved aspect of the A3 sound over the A2

It's leaner, but tighter and more responsive and just as if not more extended.

The LZ-A3 is what I wish the DN2000J would have sounded like. To be honest, the sound like the DN2000J without the treble spike.

For the record, I don't find the bass to be lacking in any way.

The A3 is a phenomenal sounding earphone. If you blindfolded me, had me listen to them and told me they cost many times more I would believe it, same goes for the A2

Bass quantity and quality is definitely not the same, so I do believe you that the bass is better. I hope they will send my pair soon, I can barely wait. Also looking forward to see what they will sell the LZ A2 for, when they get it back in stock.

I would say it's similar to the DN2000J with the bass rings attached.

Wow, seems like LZ is upping their game! Man can't wait to see what else he has cooking Cant wait for my pair to arrive.
