Neutrality on the cheap ($100) ?

Say I think the HD280s are way too warm and the V6 are just a little bright, what would be in between them with a neutral un-colored sound?

Would the HD580s fit that description? MS-1? HD555?

(must have good detail too)

I don't think I really want another pair of closed headphones right now. Also, I'd think I'm looking for something that would be in the $100 to $125 range new or used. Not that I object to spending less, but I want to go up a level in detail and soundstage from the V6 & hd280 too.
