Hi everyone,

I've been using the E1001 paired with my Fiio X1 and I would like to replace the E1001 with another balanced (neutral) IEM.

It's important for these to be durable. I've had the JVC HA-FXT90 for 3 months before it broke down, at a time when I didn't have any replacements at hand and when I couldn't get any for a while.

My budget is around 300$.

I've looked for a bit and found a couple of candidates.

The Shure SE425 seems to be nice but there have been complaints about how is it not so durable.

I've heard great things from the ATH-IM02 but it has been discontinued. Any product similar to this one?

The Sennheiser IE80s might be good too but I've heard they are more focused on bass...

Not sure if you can stretch at all, but if you can you should look at a Campfire Orion and see what you think. It ticks off some of your boxes rather nicely and is just above budget. Maybe read about it and see what you think. It could work for you.

Thank you for your answer. Though above my budget, they do seem to fit my criteria, as you said. Do you have any experience with these?

If need a backup par I would look at Havi B3 Pro 1 $62 on Amazon here in the states. Great little iem for the price. Neutral to just a bit on the warm side.

Thank you for your answer. They look like they could be nice but I've read that they have some QC issue. Did you experience that kind of issue?

I would highly recommend the Oriveti New Primacy, it's $299 and is much better than the SE425 in my opinion, better extension on both ends and a nice neutral to slightly mid forward sound signature.
