Can any one compare them to the AT m50x or the final audio sonorous IV ?

I seek the most clean and detailed closed headphoned under $500

Do these sound as dark in the air frequencies as the measurements would indicate?
They don't sound dark to me.

I also wouldn't say the measurements show them as dark. in uncompensated graphs 10khz and above can look lower in level for headphones with no perceptual emphasis there.
Compare to Jude's Focal Elegia graph for example

Also do they clip on high volume when listening to bass heavy tracks ? I don't trust dynamic headphones dig that deep without clipping.

Do you Equalize bass up a lot or something. i have never experienced clipping in dynamic drivers except maybe focal elex (at higher volumes than i would listen at). Usually the problem is distortion.

Yes my Elex clips too, but only on heavy bass tracks at loud volumes.

Can you please test those 2 tracks for me ?

after 2:35 min

after the first minue

as you can see I encounter this problem only wheln I listening to classics or heavy bass soundtracks like Hans zimmer ones

I just got a set of these and no darkness at all. In fact, they sound very natural. They sound 'naturally articulate', that's how I would describe them. No showing off or emphasizing. And none of the typical closed back ringing/distortion problems or closed back fit problems.

When you first put them on and listen, they sound like nothing, but after a while you gradually realize that it's very natural.

Welcome to the sound of .... flat frequency response.
This is how it sounds.
Graphs may not agree, and charts may protest, but nevertheless, if you want to hear "flat frequency response", then strap on a set of the Neumann's.
You have arrived.
