I've got a Luxman LX-33. I'd like to upgrade the two 12AU7's and the 6AQ8 first, then maybe the four EL84's. I have already upgraded the four 12AX7 tubes with Sylvania Gold Brand GB5751's. I don't know if I'm supposed to do this but it seems to work fine and sounds great. FWIW, I'm using one RCA cleartop 12AU7 and one very old Mullard 12AU7 right now, and a very old GE 6AQ8 tube. Also 4 stock Japanese Matsu****a power tubes. However, if any of these tubes are specifically for the phono stage, I may upgrade it later. Can anyone clarify what I need and suggest any good tubes? Thank you.
