After having not used the headphone for a month, the right side is suddenly dead. I tried jiggling the cable and connector, but don't even get static or signal. There is no apparent damage or signs of wear or fraying on the cable or connector. I use the headphones only at home and don't remember driving them very hard or yanking on the cables.

What do you guys think it could be? I tried opening the cups but im having great difficulty just removing the ear pads.

I have had my headphones for 2-3 years, so it should be out of warranty. Do you guys know of any good online repair service?  I'm thinking of using Headroom's repair service (50 dollars standard fee plus shipping). Anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Your best (and only) option is recabling them but chances of a blowing driver are too great and you won't ever find a spare driver unfortunately.

Try asking in the following thread.
