I need to decide which to get for home use only, but I'm not sure. I'm buying it only for the DAC and Amp because I don't currently have one, so lack of inputs/outputs don't bother me at all. So which route seems the better way? I heard the E-Mu 0404 doesn't have that great of an amplifier but can be bypassed, so I guess it'd come down to whichever one has the better DAC..

So anyone have any ideas as to which one is better? Really any information at all would be appreciated.

The E-Mu 0404. If you are willing to spend also look at the HR Micro DAC.
