I am in the market for a good set of in-ear/canal phones for around $100.00. I have narrowed my search down to 2...Shure E2C and Etymotic ER6. Any recommendations on which one to go with? Pros and cons of both? I currently have a pair of Sony EX71 phones, and while I'm not really dissatified with them, I'm looking to upgrade to a better pair.

The E2c is suppost to have lots of muddy bass while the ER6 is suppost to have nothing but treble. The ER6i is probably the best compromise between the two, with more bass than the ER6 though not as much as the E2 (and the bass is much higher quality than the E2). In that pricerange you should probably get the ER6i.
