Hey,

I recently placed an order for Klipsch Image S4 Headphones ($79.99) and they went out of stock until the end of july, instead they gave me options on other in ear headphones at a discounted rate to compromise. What should i do?

They offered:

Shure SE115 (any color) for $79.95 (reg $99.99)
V-Moda Vibe II for $89.95 (reg $119.99)
Ultimate Ears mtro.fi 220 $69 (reg $79.95)

Either I get one of those or I wait until, HOPEFULLY, august to get my Klipsch.

I listen to all kinds of music (Rock, RnB, Hip Hop, techno, and more) and its used for my iPod.

Thank you!

I would wait as well, after reading some reviews on the S4's, they seem to be better than all of those IEM's that you have listed.

was gonna say this too, save up $20 more for the RE0's, simply stunning. Eyeing up the S4's or the RE2's as my next purchase though..

I'm not sure where you ordered from but it sounds like your getting ripped off.

Shure SE115 - $65
V-Moda Vibe II - Not worth anything
Ultimate Ears mtro.fi 220 - $25

If I were you I'd wait.

Seconded. You're getting **Ripped** (LOL @ "discounted rate"). Way better sound can be had at that price range. I think the NE-7M for $55 would rip holes in all of those.

Anyway, get your money back and don't bother with any of those. If you decide to add $20 go for the RE0, otherwise look up some "best IEM under $xx" threads here on head-fi and go from there.

Theres a bunch of appreciation threads for the RE0.

It was a pretty good value at its original $229 price tag. It was a better value at the $169 price last month. It's an incredible value at the current $99 price. It's considered a top-tier, hi-fi IEM (The ones you listed aren't even mid-fi).

This thread sums it up pretty well:

if you're thinking about buying the re0... (quick impressions)

The Shure SE115 appear to be $65 at buy.com in google, but when you actually go to buy.com, I see $75 + $10 shipping = $85.
Shure SE115 Sound Isolating Earphone - SE115-K - Buy.com

I see $69.93 with free shipping (for the blue ones).

Link

It's still not worth the asking price...

x2, search for all the re0 threads - there are a lot of recent ones

as mentioned above, a great value at MSRP but an absolute steal for $99

and to top it off, they offer full refunds within 30 days, so worst case you just send them back (but i doubt you will after hearing them

Hey timmy, if you already have the RE0s, may I ask why you would want to try the RE2s? Wouldn't that be a significant downgrade?
