Once upon a time, I thought I saw a burn in track for phono stages that I could burn to a CD. I could then hook the phono stage to the CD player and put it on repeat.
Anybody know where I could find this?

There's something like a burn-in track (sweeps etc) on the Cardas record.

Yes, I'm aware of that (especially since I'm a Cardas dealer)

I don't want to put the wear & tear on my cartridge, that's why I was looking for an alternative method.

Yes, man, I understand. Why don't you record that track with your CD-recorder and then play back the CD-R on "repeat"? I would do it for you if I didn't live on another continent. It's real easy.

That's not a bad idea at all, thanks for that.

You are welcome. Good luck.

A CDP into your phonostage is going to be a giant signal, isn't it?
I'd go for the iriaa as well. It's only about $24 to build. But yeah, it is just one more thing. I love/hate that about this hobby.

Ain't cheap though.

Yes, I saw that one too.
Oh well.
Mark at Rogue Audio said just to leave it running and that would do for burn in.
Even though during the week I only have time for 1-2 albums, I'm hearing improvements every day, so I figure he's right.

This is a really good phono stage BTW, (Rogue Audio Stealth).
It easily beats the tubed phono stage that's in the Rogue 99 Magnum pre-amp.

I wasn't too happy about having to get an external phono stage at first, but now I am.
(My new pre-amp is coming tomorrow and it does not have a phono stage, which is why I bought the Stealth)
Anybody looking for a Rogue 99 Magnum?
