Hello,
I'm currently trapped in Mansfield, UK, and my Shure headphones are in need of repair. I think it's a simple job, from what I can tell there is a loose connection in the miniplug because the sound from the left channel sporadically cuts out and fiddling with the cable at the point the cable meets the plug temporarily restores the sound.
Sending the headphones back to Shure in the US is too expensive and I don't want to deal with potential problems with customs.
Therefore, I'm asking any DIY'ers in the UK to please help me out. I'd pay for postage and would be happy to pay a modest fee for your help. I know it's not a difficult job, but I'm travelling and have no way to do this myself right now.
Thanks.
