Thanks for the link. Just bought it.

Cost me around USD $45, including shipping, which is quite expensive. All the savings from getting the 829 at $260 went poof. Oh well, I guess thats the price I pay for being impatient and wanting the coolest looking case.

Hope it comes soon because I think my player will arrive in a day or so.

No Sony Style's in your area? They're 29.99 in-store, or at least in Canada anyways.

Tell you the truth I didn't even bother checking the sony style store in my area (30 min drive). I figured if its not even listed on the website, the store probably doesn't have it... I could be wrong.

I'll check tomorrow just to see if they do (to make myself feel worse) or don't (to make myself feel better)

Any other suggestions for cases? Maybe some non-Sony ones that will fit the NWZ-A820 series?

Mind you while I think 30$ is expensive for that case (pretty much the official Sony price), I find below 20$ for shippind US-->Europe to be quite normal. A "proper" webshop often charges 34-45$

...and my newly arrived NWZ-A829 just completed charging and I am listening to it now for the first time. Clear Bass set to 1, all other effects off.

Sound quality seems very, very good, the clear bass is amazing.

The first track I put on was "Hiding all away" by Nick Cave, at the end of the track the bass and drums break into a little chaos. Most DAPs tend to choke on this part but the Sony handled it well with little distortion, while revealing details to me I never heard before. That's on the first track I put on! Looks promising!

The design of this player and the interface is just stunning, I am pretty sure this is the nicest gadget I ever bought. Packaging was nice as well.

Only downside is the bluetooth headphones, terrible. But who cares, I love this new player so far.

Just checked and found out the clear hard case is not in stock yet at the sony style stores in my area.

I feel much better now for rushing into that purchase

I just found out that my old soft pouch from burninglove.biz for the iPod Mini fits the Sony perfectly though a little loose in the fit since the Sony is slimmer (equal meassures otherwise it seems).

So any non-rigid case that fits a Mini should fir the Sony.

I am still going to order the hard case, that way I have something for travel and the soft pouch for everyday use
