So i just recently got the Phillips SHP9500's, and the Schiit Magni and Modi 2. My previous headphones were the Bose QC 25's. After switching back and forth the past couple of days, it seems the Bose headphones sound better. They even seem to sound ever so slightly better with the noise cancelling off. I haven't had the chance to use the Magni and Modi yet, so would using those drastically improve the SQ of the SHP9500's? Would i be better off using the Magni and Modi on the QC 25's? I'm just not sure. Would like to hear some opinions

Edit #1: OK, so i should have explained it better. I LITERALLY cannot use the Magni, or the Modi. Thought it came with all of the cables that i would i need. Nope. Had to buy some on Amazon. They haven't arrived yet.

Why ask if you already have it? Just try it for yourself. I had the Magni 2 Uber and Modi 2 and did not notice an improvement compared to my laptop with those headphones, but it depends on the quality of your own source.

Why can't you use the Modi/Magni?

So your asking why do your $300 (Bose QC 25) headphones sound better then your $60 (Philips SHP9500) headphones?
So you want us to explain why the headphones that cost 5 times more sound better?

I think the Philips X2 Fidelio would be a better match to the Boze QZ 25 at least price-wise.
