I really like the looks of the 325 and the leather. I can't seem to find any Alessandro ms2 for sale on the web I live in usa

Thank you for the link sir but I think I'm gonna go with the 325. I've been reading my ass off about comparisons and from my understanding the 325 is more for heavy metal and the ms2 is more for slower more relaxed tunes

It's not that the MS2i is for mellower music, it just is not as fast and punchy and tight as the 325is, the MS2i is just a mellower headphone itself, The 325is an attack to it, it's much more aggressive in my personal experience with the both of them, which is what I preferred. Sounds like you may like the 325is for their aggression also.

    What's "heavy stuff?"

I've owned the 325is for just over two months. Except for a few live jazz recordings, I still like the sound better than my HD-650 or (Beyerdynaimc) DT 990 or T 70.

Oh. You mean Steppenwolf and Black Sabbath. They're great.

Yeah those are great examples but it gets crazier yet and very demanding on headphones

Grado's are great for heavy and fast music in general.  I still love my RS-2(not a huge step up from but still a step up from the 325is) and listen to them often.

Putting time on my RS-2(semi? vintage) right now; really good for rock and metal. The Sword and Queens of the Stone Age are just god tier on these.  But yeah the RS-2 and 325is really aren't worlds apart; it was mainly a vanity thing that I bought them over the 325is. Also if you ever want better sound with the same signature look into the synphone magnum mods. Something I might add; they don't really need an amp, I find they sound a little cleaner out of one; maybe its placebo but it seems like they get better transient response when properly powered. BUT coloring the sound with an amp is something I like as songs with sibilant mastering becomes very apparent. I would suggest listing to them and if you find them sibilant trying a slight EQ on the upper mids and highs.

Even if certain cans are a little to much at some frequencies I never use an eq. I have before and had good results but its just not authentic man.
