Not sure what the difference is from in ear headphones to IEM's, I know IEM's are used in bands, do people still use them for their personal use?  I basically just want a really good in ear headphone that offers very good quality, better quality then all of the 20 dollar and 50 dollar in ear headphones I have ever owned such as the cheapo sony's you see in walmart or the 50 dollar philips.  All of them one of the speakers would always stop, I guess from the wire being tugged,  I don't need any of the cell phone call/answer features, looking for something good with bass/ dubstep but not tooo much bass, I also enjoy rock so clarity is important...Come on guys blow me away with a good suggestion, I want to put these suckers in and be like holy sh1t I've never heard something sound so clear and amazing.  You guys have a lot more experience than I do, I have been searching but it seems that I cant find a good answer.  I'm ok with the 150-300 range.  Thanks for your time

In ear phones, IEMs and ear canal phones refer to the same thing unlike earbuds which you don't insert inside the ear canal.

I suggest the GR07BE. You can get it here for $130 with free shipping:

Those GR07BE's are very nice, great reviews.  I also came across the westone 3's and the bose Bose QuietComfort 20's.  Those Gr07be's seem nice, almost as if I can't go wrong buying them.

I don't think you can go wrong with the GR07BE. I use the E17 with my GS3 but there is not much improvement in SQ but I'm connecting it via audio-out and not USB OTG. Where did you buy the GR07BE from?

Came with a ton of rubber inserts, the thing is I like it to sit deep in my ear and I can't seem to get them right to stay where I've been able to with my other previous inner ear buds.  Having them go over the ear is new for me

the gr07 was also my first over the ear IEM. Unlike what I thought earlier, it's quite easy to wear it.
