[Dmd]

Been lurking around these forums for a little while now, finally decided to post! Basically I'm looking for a new setup. Currently I have a xonar d2x which i output to a pair of esw9s for music and ad700 for games.

I've done a fair bit of reading and running around in circles and i've settled on something like this: xonar d2x spdif -> little dot dac i -> little dot mk iii -> alessandro ms pro. I was also considering grado rs1s, however living in Australia it is much easier and cheaper to get my hands on the ms pros.

In regards to the DAC, i was also considering the dac magic (i can afford the extra), i'm not too sure how they would compare, thoughts? Is there something else around that price range i should consider? Now, the amp, i'm not too sure, having never listened to a tube amp i am quite curious, and apparently they sound good with grados/alessandros. Once again any other amps i should consider around this price range?

Lastly i'm also considering picking up a cdp, anything decent around the USD$100-150 mark?

I was looking into the DACMAGIC heavily, and there doesn't really seem to be TOO much difference between it and the Little Dot, besides the price point and a slight change in the sound signature. (Plus, I personally love the little screen on the Little Dot)

I've been looking heavily at the NuForce Icon HDP lately, as a combined DAC/Amp. This obviously wouldn't be best if you prefer the sound of tubes, but, if you don't really know, I'd recommend looking into it. Lots of hype around it, and it's got some quality internals.
