Besides the following, can someone share with me the differences between the NJB2 and NJB3. I want to make a decision tomorrow, so I would appreciate prompt feedback
NJB 2 NJB3
Replacement Battery Yes Yes
Connection USB 2.0 1.1 & firewire
Line Out No Yes
Battery Life 16 hrs Higher with 2 bat
Hard Drive 10 or 20 20 or 40
Optional Fm Remote No Yes
Optional Docking Station ? Yes
Line In Record ?Yes Yes
Voice Record ? Yes
EQ Yes Yes
DSP ? Yes
Onboard File Mg Yes Yes
I am not totally clear on all the differences between 2 and 3. Can someone tell me if my above list is accurate and anything I am missing or have questions about.
What are the major advantages of the JB3 over the JB2?
Do they have the same amp?
Same ID tag info?
Same ease of file transfer operation and onboard file mg?
I have a Pavillion HP520n, windows home XP with a Celeron 1.3 and think I am limited to a 1.1 USB although the spec's page indicate I have a 1394 IEEE unpowered port but I cant locate it (dont really know what I am looking for) nor can HP phone customer support confirm that I have it. What does unpowered mean 1394 IEEE mean? I need to get this resolved which will make my choice easier. I think I am limited to just the 1.1USB. There is a price differece of $70 and an extra 10GB which I really dont need but if there are other good reasons to get the 3 over the 2, I will spend the extra $70
Thanks for your help, Steve
