I spend a lot of time gaming on my PC and, although I have excellent speakers, they tend to drive my fiance nuts. I have resorted to gaming with a headset on and the cheap logitech set I have now is just not doing it for me. I am relying on you, the experts, to help direct me to a quality gaming headset that will not break the bank. I spend a lot of time on TeamSpeak while gaming so the quality of the microphone should be considered as well. For these I prefer external headphones and like them to fit around my ears rather than over them but I am not opposed to wearing them on my ear as long as they will be comfortable for long gaming sessions.

I also need a pair of headphones for the gym that sound better than the ones that I have now. I tend to really like the neckband type as they work well for me but the pair I have now rattle so much that I want to toss them across the room... but they I would not have music.

Again, for the gym pair, sound quality, comfort and portability are probably my biggest concerns. Of course, I don't want to break the bank with these also.

I appreciate your input!

check out the new shure e gaming series. i own the shure e2g's and they are very sturdy and would have a dual application for you. if you want to spend more(than the e2g's sub $100 range) you can go for the e3 or 4 g's. good luck!

again I go with IEMs .. Think the er6i are pretty cheap and good to use at the gym.
