I have Panasonic SX-500 portable CD player. I listen different kinds of music: rock/pop, jazz, and classic. I use Koss PortaPro to listen rock/pop, works very well. However PortaPro is not suitable for acoustic (esp. classic) music, since it adds too much low frequencies, so something like chamber music or piano do not sound quite natural.
I got Beyer DT231 as an alternative. Like them a lot, very nice 'natural response'. However seem like these cans are much harder to drive than Koss Pro. I got Headphone Amp but seems like it's too much trouble to carry everything with me.
So this is what I'm loking for:
Accurate frequency response to listen acoustic music.
Easy to drive (that's the key). At least, easier to drive than Beyer DT231.
Something comparable with Koss PortaPro will be ideal.
Comfortable, easy to wear while walking. Probably 'over the ears', like Beyer DT231 is fine (since it offers additional noise isolation). I do not consider 'in the ear' models like Etymotic.
Any recommendations?
TIA.
