I broke my E10's jack. I liked the soundstage of E10 so much. I am not a basshead and I prefer a V shaped balanced sound like E10. No Overpowered bass please. Could you please suggest IEMs better than E10? Price can be similar to E10 or a couple of dollars more but not too much. Thanks.

The E10s are considered by many to be one of the best price/performance values for the money. I don't think you should expect to do better unless you spend a good bit more.

Yes but E10s are old now. I can buy VSD3S but I don't like over the ear wire and that plastic piece that goes behind the ear design. I just need simple IEM design that can be plugged easily into the ear. Like I said I liked the soundstage of E10 very much. Please suggest a similar sounding IEM without OP bass. I'd like to buy any IEM that are not expensive than the VSD3S. Please suggest some options.

sound magic's two new offerings, the e-50 & e-80 are both fantastic earphones. Can be had for roughly 60.00. E-80 is a good reference earphone imo. Bass is fantastic

My teenage son and I compared his Soundmagic E10 to my E50. We thought the E50 a nice upgrade.

What did he say? I'm not going to go watch a 7 minute video from some guy on YouTube. LOL

I'm also continually stumped by the concept that people put way more value in YouTube video reviews than written testimonials and recommendations. As if the ability to make videos and load them to the web automatically makes someone an expert on whatever they choose to talk about.

No, he has his head up his ass.

LOL. I believe you. I have tried Soundmagic ES18 and E10 and I was impressed by both the IEMs. So I trust Soundmagic now. I read this review on Head-Fi and the guy said they are great. My friend suggested T-peos Tank and Popular. What would be better the New E50,E8 or the T-peos tank, popular ? I need balanced sound like E10s. I ain't a basshead. Thanks.

I stick with the sound magic myself. Another great bargain is the KZ Ed-9 & Ed-10. Unbelievable sound for the asking price. Check those out when you have chance.

KZ ED9 are very cheap. I'm thinking about buying them. Are KZ ED9 better than E10s? Also I've been hearing about Xaiomi Piston 3. What would be better Piston 3 or KZ ED9?

I have the E10, E50 and E80.

The E50 is my favourite - a wonderful upgrade on the E10 without being as neutral and power hungry as the E80.  Suits my setup and ears perfectly.

Well

E10- consumer tuning with colour to mid range but it defines and resolves pretty good. It does justice to everything it plays.

E50- laid back upper treble bite and more linear mid to to treble rise, reducing Q factor and making it easier to listen and more defined over upper treble.

E80- reference mid and treble tuning, lowered bass and more cleaner decay compared to E10.

Sound magic India says that they all have same driver but are tuned very different.

I think e50 and e80 have same driver and are tuned good if not extreme.
