I have never bought any actual headphones before, only cheap earbuds. I am looking for something durable and very portable. An over the ear design so it isn't bulky. I want it to look good too. I really like the look of these headphones, Pioneer HDJ500. If it came with a case, that would be great. My budget is under 100$ (actually closer to 50$ would be nice but up to 100$). I really want them to be bass loaded, really powerful. I don't want to sacrifice good mids and highs for bass though. Thanks everyone!

I should also mention that I will be using these at school everyday during study hall. So if they contained sound well, that would be great.

I'd recommend the Brainwavz M2, they sound pretty good for the price and can be had for <$60 new.

You reveal in another thread how your Brainwavz broke after 2 months, then it took you a month to get a replacement/warranty set back from the Manu.

AND, You still recommend Brainwavz???
