Hi, I currently have a Portophile V2 that I really enjoy. I have recently purchased a pair of DT770's (80ohm) and would like to add a DAC.
One upgrade path i am considering is purchasing the Zero with the upgrade to the OPA627.
My question is this. Ignoring the benefit of the DAC is the Zero going to be a better headphone amp than the Portophile?
My current thought is to upgrade to the Zero for listening to my digital library and use a cd transport via coax for CD's
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
