I bought the Kilpsch X10i couple of days ago due to the recommendations from this site. Here is the post (http://www.head-fi.org/t/668033/need-a-earbuds-thats-better-than-the-bose-ime2#post_9533779)
To be honest I am not completely satisfied with its audio quality, and i think the reason is its ear molds. Because when i tried the small size ear mold that came with the box, it sounded awful, it sounded like one of those 10 bucks Skullcandy earbuds you can get from Radioshack. The medium size and large size sounded much better but the audio quality is only alright, but definitely not 350 bucks worth. I wonder if it's because of the size of the hole on the ear mold where the music is coming out, because it's a lot smaller than all the other in ear earphones i have seen, they are like 3mm in diameter. i assume with a better ear mold the audio quality should improve much more. So any suggestions?

Hmm. You paid $350... that's a lot for a X10... anyways, seems like it could be fit issues you are having. Without a proper seal, most iems will sound mediocre. Try other tips(like triple flange, dual flange, foam...)
