I know this probably isn't the right forum to ask, but I can try:

I just picked up my Denon receiver at my parents place (3 hour drive) but I forgot my remote

So now the question is:

How can I turn it on??

It has a big Off/Standbye button which only turns it off or on standbye, but not on. I tried all the buttons on the front but nothing seems to work, and I googled it but couldn't find any help.

Also tried universal remote, nothing works, I guess I'm gonna have to do the drive tommorow again

What's the model number on it?

On my denon if you press the standby switch to off and then press it again the unit will turn on. (older 5700)

Lol I actually did it, I drove back to get it.
