Hello!
A friend of mine owns B&W Preference 6 loudspeakers for some time and now feels ready to "upgrade" them.
Does anybody have experince with this specific speaker series (or similar B&W design)? When recommending, please, be specific what speaker wire to use for inner spaeker wiring, what caps to use in the crossover, etc. Any suggestion/recommendation is welcome...
Thanks!
Best regards,
David

Hi,

You won't go far wrong replacing the caps with polypropelyne caps from the likes of "Solen" I've heard good reports from owners who have used the hovland musi cap though I personally find them rather expensive in a price = performance equation.

To really get the best from the B&W's try some "dedshete" panels from wilmslow audio http://www.wilmslow-audio.co.uk/ and have a good look around their site.

Hope this was of use.

Pinkie
