Title really says it all. 
 
I have it plugged in via USB to the computer, and the headphones plugged into the front of the device into the headphone plug. Do I need a separate 3.5 mm cable from the back of the aune t1 either plugged from my computer into the audio input/output plugin?
 
Sorry for the terrible noob question, couldn't find much available on the internet regarding this. If you need more details I'll be monitoring my thread actively. Thanks in advance.

In your operating system (I assume windows), have you changed your speaker output to digital?
